Mission Statement
The Mary E. Kenney Memorial Library, located on the bottom floor of
the classroom wing of the main school building since 1966, serves
approximately 800 ninth through twelfth grade young men and women.
The mission of the library/research center is to provide resources and
information delivery in a variety of formats to support our curriculum,
provide integrated instruction with other departments in the school,
and to
promote life-long learning, by attempting to supply a
collection and services that reflect the curricular needs and interests of
the student body and a staff of 85. The library acts as a curriculum
consultant to the academic departments,
and participates in classroom and technology instruction when appropriate
to provide meaningful research assistance for our primary patrons, the
students. Students, faculty, staff and parents are taught
one-on-one, in small groups and in full
classes.
