| St. Joseph High School is a four year, coeducational, college preparatory school established in 1962 by the Catholic Church in the Diocese of Bridgeport. The school has an enrollment of approximately 850 students and draws its students from Fairfield and New Haven counties in Connecticut. The school has a fulltime professional faculty of 69, eighty percent of whom possess advanced degrees. St. Joseph High School is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. | |

Calendar Notes for the 2008-2009 School YearThe first day of school for the incoming Class of 2012 is Wednesday August 27. Freshmen and Sophomores will report to school on Thursday August 28th. Juniors and Seniors only will report on Friday August 29th.Class will be dismissed at noon the opening week of school. The Christmas vacation is scheduled from December 24th through January 2nd. The Winter Vacation will take place from Monday February 16th through Friday February 20th. The Spring Vacation is scheduled from April 13th through April 17th. Graduation for the Class of 2009 is slated for Saturday May 30, 2009. |

Sadly, the Saint Joseph High School Community has suffered a grievous loss with the sudden death of Mrs. Eileen Wyka. Mrs. Wyka has been a Spanish teacher here for eight years and our yearbook moderator for the past five years as well.
