Privilege & Responsibility Awards

The Privilege & Responsibility Awards were created by the Alumni Association in 2001 in the name and memory of the late Sr Catherine Fanning, a School sister of Notre Dame. Sr Catherine was a beloved teacher and administrator for many years.

Nominations for Privilege & Responsibility Awards in the Spiritual and Dedication categories are now being accepted. The awards are given to recipients who embody the St Joseph High School mission. Award category descriptions are below.

Please make your nominations based on volunteers in the community or retired faculty and staff.

Leadership

The nominated person or group must be a leader in our school community. Someone who has been encouraging and living the mission of St Joseph High School.

Community

An individual or group who has enhanced the St Joseph High School community as well as the community at large,

Dedication

This person is a retired St Joseph High School faculty or staff member who has shown dedication to the students, school and/or community

Spiritual

A group or individual who embodies and shares the Roman Catholic faith in the spirit of the St Joseph High School community.

Our Mission

St Joseph High School strives to be the premier college preparatory school in Southern Connecticut. The school provides a learning environment that embraces the Gospel values of the Roman Catholic faith and promotes a commitment to family and community.
