Tuition and Fees

  • $11,350 for the 2010-2011 school year inclusive of textbooks. No additional class fees
  • $200 graduation fee

St. Joseph Admissions Grants

In order to be considered for any of the following awards, the student’s family must submit a financial aid form each year.
  • Tuition Assistance Awards - individual grants range from $1000 to $3000, according to your percentage ranking by need among all applicants. Decisions on the financial awards will be made by the Private School Service of Lakewood, Ohio.
  • The Liptak Scholarship - a need-based award of $4,000 over four years ($1,000 per year) which is awarded by the Cardinal Shehan Center. Recipients must have attended a Cardinal Shehan Center Program during their elementary school years. You should notify the St. Joseph Admissions Office of your involvement in the Cardinal Shehan Center and pick up an application.

St. Joseph Admissions Scholarships

St. Joseph High School offers several scholarships to its students. Four types of scholarships are scholastically based. They include the following:

  1. The Presidential Scholarship Award is a four-year half tuition scholarship offered to the following students provided that they have attained the highest score on our entrance exam, and have grades and a teacher recommendation which reflect their high school scholastic ability:

    1. the boy and girl of a parochial grammar school.
    2. the student of a public or private middle school.
    3. the student of a St. Joseph alumni.

    These awards are renewed each year, provided these students have maintained a superior academic average and are a positive presence with in the St. Joseph Community.
  2. The St. Joseph Scholarship is a $8,000 award over four years ($2,000  per year) and is awarded to all students who score in the 99% on our entrance exam.
  3. The Principal's Scholarship is a $6,000 award over four years ($1500 per year) and is awarded to those students who score between a 95%-98% on the  entrance exam.
  4. The Cadet Scholarship is a $4000 award over four years ($1000 per year) and is awarded to those students who score between 90 to 94% on the entrance exam.

In order to renew either the St. Joseph, Principal's, or Cadet Scholarships, each student must maintain a superior academic average and be a positive presence within the St. Joseph Community.
