The Cadets for Life promote the pro-life cause at St. Joseph High School. We espouse a particular concern for the innocent unborn and the desperately poor. Read More >

The debate club is open to all SJHS students who share a love for debating current topics.  Students will meet once a month to plan thier debate, (teams, topics, etc.).  The monthly debate will follow a prescibed format and the moderator will serve as judge. Read More >

The Drama club performs musical and plays throughout the course of the school year. Performances are held in the Fall and in the Spring. Read More >

The English Club meets to discuss stories, plays movies, poems and books, to play word games and to plan for trips to plays, movies or readings. Read More >

The French Club meets several times throughout the year to celebrate French culture and holidays, à la française when possible.

The Future Teachers Club meets monthly to hear speakers from education fields, helps teachers in grades K-12 by volunteering, teaches CCD or other special classes, conducts polls on education issues and share their career interests with each other. Read More >

The guitar club is open to students who play guitar and would like the opportunity to dicuss popular music  and learn how to play various songs with the input of other club members.  This is also an outlet for the sharing of talents and an opportunity for self expression. Read More >

The Italian Club meets monthly to promote Italian culture, music, art and food through after school activities such visiting centers of Italian culture, attending operas and plays, making trips to museums and restaurants. Read More >

The Math Club is open to all students who have a love for math and praciticing their skill.  Teams are formed among the members to participate in state wide competitions. Read More >

Students gather to watch the best contemporary, classic, foreign, and domestic films. After the films, students discuss the movie, its underlying message, and how the message is portrayed through effects, setting, script, and angles.

The car club was formed for all who are interested in enhancing their knowlege of cars.  The club will explore such issues as,  car care, car financing, maintaining cars,and the great responsibility of having a car and being a safe driver.  Read More >

The Yearbook is currently working on its 2010 publication. Following Columbia University School of Journalism’s ideas, concepts and format, the Spectrum continues to be one of New England’s award winning premier high school medalist yearbooks. Although the staff (writers, editors, photographers, and business managers) is made up of mostly juniors and seniors, freshmen and sophomores fill 40% of the staff needs. Read More >
