Welcome to the close-knit community of St. Joseph High School!
The Catholic faith in which St. Joe’s was founded, rooted in, and run from instills in all of us the ability and desire to educate our students under its guiding principles. This is reflected in our vision: “St. Joseph High School provides a learning environment that embraces the Gospel values of the Roman Catholic Faith and promotes a commitment to family and community.”
Courses and curriculum at St. Joe’s are rigorous, varied and challenging, designed to encourage students to develop their passions and broaden their horizons. Faculty and staff work together toward a common goal: creating an engaging atmosphere where students are lifelong learners, strong in their Catholic faith. Our programs of study and teachers utilize differentiated instruction techniques in order to meet the needs of all of our individual learners. At St. Joe’s, we want all our students to succeed and we strongly encourage and applaud academic achievements and accomplishments.
Rapidly expanding technology is an integral part of our school and has enhanced the classroom experience in recent years. We are proud to prepare our students for their future endeavors and value the 21st century skills curriculum. Our faculty employs expertise specific to their disciplines in order to prepare all students for the expectations and demands of college life. This is complemented by our Guidance and College Counseling department, who help navigate parents and students through the college application process, while simultaneously providing support for students facing the challenges of young adulthood.
In addition to teaching core academic content areas, we advocate the formation of communication, creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and problem solving. We believe a St. Joe’s graduate will be an excellent civic-minded citizen, guided by their strong faith, who will work in a global economy in a constantly changing world.
Above all, we believe a St. Joe’s student is a member of our St. Joe’s community for life!
