Day 1 Sat Depart USA Evening . Meals and refreshments served on board.

Day 2 Sun Madrid Upon arrival, you’ll be met by your representative and taken to your hotel where you will be free to enjoy the capital city of Spain at leisure. In the evening, enjoy a relaxed welcome “Tapas” dinner at a local restaurant. (D)

Day 3 Mon Madrid After breakfast, spend the morning on an escorted sightseeing motor coach tour of Madrid. Highlights include the magnificent fountains of Neptune and Cibeles, the Alcala Gate, the Plaza de España and Plaza de Oriente. Afterwards visit one of the best preserved palaces in Europe, the Royal Palace of Madrid. In the afternoon you are free to visit one of Madrid’s recognized museums along the “Golden Art Triangle”. Day 4 Tue Madrid/Seville After breakfast, bid farewell to Spain’s capital city and board your motor coach tour bus heading south to the romantic city of Seville. Upon arrival, enjoy a tour of the city in the company of an experienced local guide. Highlights include a visit to the Cathedral, considered the world’s largest Gothic edifice. Afterwards, stop for some photos of La Giralda tower before strolling through the narrow lanes of Seville’s delightful Santa Cruz district, a former Jewish Quarter. After a full day, dinner is included at your hotel in Seville. (B,D)

Day 5 Wed Seville/Cordoba/Seville After a short drive, your tour begins in the captivating city of Cordoba where you will enjoy a guided tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Historic Center. Visit the Aljama 8th Century Mosque combining Islamic, Baroque and Gothic design and internationally recognized as an architectural treasure. Afterwards, continue with a stroll along the former Jewish quarter before returning to Seville. In the evening, enjoy an included dinner and Flamenco Show at a local Tablao of Seville. (B,D)

Day 6 Thu Seville/Granada After breakfast depart Seville and continue your tour with a step back into the rich history of Granada as you visit its main attraction, the fabulous Alhambra Palace, widely regarded as being one of the 10 architectural wonders of the world. Both graceful and mighty, this citadel is laced in stone and surrounded by gardens and fountains. Your tour includes ample time to walk through the beautiful grounds of Generalife and view the palace of Charles V. For your convenience and relaxation, dinner is included at your hotel. (B,D)

Day 7 Fri Granada/Toledo/Madrid After breakfast, depart the Moorish city of Granada and head north in the company of a professional tour guide for a stop in Toledo. This medieval town is considered one of the oldest in Europe as the city of three cultures where highlights include a visit to the Cathedral and Church of St. Tome for a view of the masterpiece by El Greco. Afterwards, enjoy a relaxed lunch before visiting Damasquinado for a firsthand look at the detailed technique of embedding precious metal into steel.  End your day in Madrid, capital city of Spain. (B)

Day 8 Sat Madrid to USA Morning transfer to Madrid Airport for your return flight home. Meals and refreshments served aloft. (B)

TOTAL COST:  $3,000.00   Price includes all of the following:

Air, hotels, transfers, meals as noted in above tour, travel insurance, r/t transfers from SJHS to airport, tips.  (Prices quoted are based on payments made by cash or check only.)

 Payment: Check made to Protravel International $2910.00 full payment or, non-refundable down payment- deposit $500.00, which includes the $75.00 trip insurance. One check for $90.00 payment to St. Joseph High School to cover all tips and 2 dinners on the economy.
