ARTS
Will you be the star of our next musical production or the Stage Manager of our fall play? Would you like to learn music from renowned university professors? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have your art displayed in art competitions and galleries across the state?
St. Joseph High School believes that every student is entitled to a well-rounded education that includes exposure to the arts, including courses in art, music, and theater. A foundation in the arts develops cognitive, analytical, problem solving and task completion skills. The arts allow students to develop self-expression through visual, aural and performance mediums. Upon completion of the program, students should possess a basic understanding and appreciation of the arts in their world and how the arts relate to historical, societal and cultural awareness.
