Alumni News: Bia Headshot

April 4, 2019 was the soft opening of The Grapevine. The shop, located at 345 Main St in the heart of downtown Westport, is owned by Bia Parente Hittman '99, her husband Seth, and a close friend. Bia told the Alumni Office, "After settling in Westport, we wanted to further deepen our roots in the community and we came across an opportunity to open a full-service wine shop, right in the heart of downtown. Now, along with a good friend, we are the proud owners of The Grapevine!"

Over winter break, Robyn Pelletier ’16, a Pre-PA student at UCONN, traveled to Ghana, Africa alongside fellow SJ alumnae, Katelyn O’Dea ‘17 and Lindsay Lucifora ‘16. There, they provided medical assistance to underprivileged families. While visiting this poverty-stricken area, they were able to help over 700 patients by providing treatment and medication in which typically they would not have access.
