SJ Alumni Appreciation Night - May 8, 2026
Join us this spring for SJ Alumni Appreciation Night at the baseball field as we celebrate the proud tradition of SJ baseball and the players who helped build it.
During the game, we will recognize our SJ Baseball Championship Teams — ‘80, ‘84, ‘85, ‘98, ‘13, ‘19, and ‘25 — with a special on-field tribute honoring the 50th Reunion of the 1976 Championship Team.
Alumni are invited to stop by the Alumni Tent during the game to reconnect with former teammates and classmates. After the final pitch, stay for a casual alumni reception with light fare as we continue the celebration together.

Here's what happened at the Boys Basketball Game
On Friday, January 30, two generations of Cadets came together on the court! During halftime, we proudly celebrated the 1975 Boys CIAC Championship Team for their incredible achievements and lasting legacy. John Fitzgerald ’75, Dick Shea ’75, and Peter Dennean ’85 - accepting on behalf of his brother Jim Dennean ’75 - took to the court to receive customized SJ Champion basketballs, a fitting tribute to their remarkable season.
After the game, two of these SJ legends spent a little time with our current basketball team, passing down stories, wisdom, and plenty of SJ pride.
It was such a special, full-circle moment that reminded us how the SJ spirit connects generations, and that once a Cadet – always a Cadet.
