50th Reunion

The Class of 1968 Celebrated Their Reunion Weekend in October 2018! It was a great event filled with memories, laughter, and friendship. Thank you to all who attended. Read below for a letter to the Class of 1968 from their classmates.

-----------------------

Dear Class of 1968:

It’s our 50th class reunion! So let’s party like it’s 1968!!!  Ahhh, on second thought, maybe that’s not such a good idea.  But after all this time, let’s try to reunite with people we knew ... and people we have yet to meet.

If you’re one of those people who goes into your bedroom, locks the door and pleads with your spouse, kids, partner and answering machine, “Tell them to leave me alone!”  Then, we have a deal for you — one night, two days and much more.

In all seriousness, a lot changes in 50 years, but we don’t have to tell you that.  St Joseph High School isn’t the same place we knew in 1968. It has flourished, and we were there at the beginning.  We were a class of young women and men who found ourselves graduating from high school at one of the most tumultuous moments in modern history.

Whether you’re nostalgic about your high school years at St Joes ... or not.  Whether you feel appreciation, anxiety, regret or a hundred other emotions just thinking about it, then stop thinking and come join us anyway.

A 50th reunion can be the cause of celebration.  You won’t regret showing up. (At least that’s what they told us.) Please come and share friendship and the stories of where life took you — all of life — the happiness, the sadness, the regrets, the achievements, the joy and the laughter.

You better come because we know where you live.  We look forward to seeing you there.

Sincerely,

Barbara Gabianelli  ’68   &  Joe Pisani  ’68

50 Year Club - Donate Today!

The 50 Year Club is a way for all the 50th reunion classes to come together and give a gift to their Alma mater that will create a legacy. Gifts contributed to the 50 Year Club will build a scholarship fund that will be awarded each year to a student in need to attend one of the SJ Immersion Trips. Students attend these trips as one part of a comprehensive program that allows them to earn a special designation at graduation known as the Francis Xavier Baccalaureate Scholar.

50 Year Club

Any size donation is welcome! Anyone who donates $100 or more will receive free admittance to all SJ home Sporting Events and Fine Arts presentations for one year!

You can make your donation a number of ways!

Thank you for coming together and being a part of a significant time in our history. You are making a brighter future for our students. See you in October!
