Saint Joseph Feast Day will be celebrated on campus, Monday, March 20, 2023!

On Monday, March 20, we celebrate and honor the great Saint whose intercession we call on after we pray every prayer. We will begin the day with a special morning Mass with Bishop Caggiano highlighting the characteristics Saint Joseph embodied in his life, including service and charity. This year, current SJ Grandparents are invited to join us for the Mass portion of Feast Day (sign up below!).

After Mass, and in the spirit of Saint Joseph, our students, faculty and staff will dedicate the remainder of their school day working together on multiple service projects on campus including a sandwich pack, blessing bag assembly, Easter basket preparation. and Rosary making.

Help us make an impact!

On Saint Joseph Feast Day, students, faculty and staff will work together on a variety of service projects, and we need your help! We hope you will take the time to look through the project below and donate some of the materials needed to make them successful!

Rosary Army

Rosary Making for the Rosary Army

Rosary Army was founded in 2003 with the mission of making, praying, and giving away all-twine knotted Rosaries and teaching others to do the same. You can learn more about their organization at rosaryarmy.com.

This is a brand new service project for our Cadets and St. Joes students will learn from our Peer Minister how to make a rosary from twine.

All of the Rosaries created will be delivered to military personnel. St. Joseph High School will source of all of the items needed for this project.

The common misconception about service is that it's just about completing a task. But it's more than that - service is about contributing to the transformation of another human being.

Service not only unites the community but also brings awareness to help those in need. There are simple actions society can take to promote community service. Volunteering contributes to promoting a safer society.

~ Skyler Johansen '23

To me, community service means to give or help other people without expecting something in return. It’s about making a change in how people should live.
