2025 Alumni Recognition Award

Celebrating Kevin Kellogg ’91: 2025 Alumni Recognition Award Recipient

St. Joseph High School is proud to honor Mr. Kevin Kellogg, Class of 1991, as the recipient of the 2025 Alumni Recognition Award.

Kevin Kellogg is the embodiment of what it means to be a loyal and passionate St. Joe’s alum. A steadfast supporter, a proud parent, and a dedicated volunteer, Kevin gives generously of his time, talents, and heart to his alma mater—always with humility and joy. A standout student-athlete during his own days as a Cadet, Kevin was a member of the legendary 1988 State Championship Football Team. He and his teammates went on to secure back-to-back titles in 1989 and 1990, achieving a historic three-peat that still echoes in the hallways of our school today. In recognition of his athletic accomplishments, Kevin was inducted into the St. Joe’s Athletic Hall of Fame in 2022.

This past year, that championship legacy came full circle, as Kevin’s son Lucas—a proud SJ Cadet himself—served as a captain on our 2024 State Championship Football Team. Together, father and son now share the distinct honor of having championship football banners hanging in our gymnasium. It’s a moment that speaks not only to athletic achievement, but to a legacy of character, perseverance, and pride in the maroon and gold.

Beyond the field, Kevin and his wife Karen have been generous and active members of the SJ community. Whether it’s cheering from the sidelines of hockey, lacrosse, wrestling matches and football games, or helping ensure the success of cherished events like Post Prom, the Kellogg’s are always present and engaged. Their belief in the mission of St. Joe’s is lived out through every action—and it’s that commitment that makes their impact so meaningful.

With three children—Trevor ’22, Lucas ’25, and Brady ’28—Kevin’s legacy is not only rooted in the past but is actively shaping the future of our school. He leads by example, demonstrating what it means to be a servant leader and a man for others.

We are proud to call Kevin Kellogg one of our own, and even prouder to honor him as this year’s
Alumni Recognition Award recipient.
