Ashley Webster '10 Promoted to Head Varsity Cheerleading Coach!
St Joseph Athletics is proud to announce the promotion of Ashley Webster ’10 to Head Varsity Cheerleading Coach!
Ashley has been a part of the SJ Cheer program in a number of capacities for over a decade. As an athlete, she cheered all four years of high school earning All-State and All-FCIAC honors and ultimately earning the title of Captain in her senior season.
Ashley continued her career at the collegiate level at Southern CT State University, again cheering all four years and being named captain in her senior season. Most recently, she has cheered for the Spirit All-Stars Onyx and has earned two Top Ten finishes at the Cheerleading World Championships.
In addition to her accomplishments as an athlete, Ashley has also has an impressive career as a coach. She began coaching in 2010 as a volunteer for the SJ JV Cheer Team, and was elevated to Assistant Varsity Coach in 2014. Under her tenure, the Cheer program has won two CIAC Class M Championships in 2015 and 2016. A number of athletes on her teams have also been awarded All-FCIAC and All-State honors. Ashley’s extensive cheerleading career as an athlete and coach and her dedication to St Joseph makes her the ideal person to take the reins for the Cheer Program!
