GIRLS SWIM DOES INCREDIBLE JOB!
SJ Girls Swim did an amazing job at States!
Huge congratulations goes out to Maegan Grisanti (pictured) who executed a decisive victory the 100 Fly, brining home a Class M State title! She was also All-State and Class M runner-up in the 200 Free.
Emmy Beach attained All-State in the 200 Free (3rd) and was All-State and Class M runner-up in the 500 Free.
Nadia Millott secured two swims in the ‘A-Final’ and not only dropped time but moved up to 7th and 5th in the 50 Free and 100 Breast.
Several of our freshmen also competed in the finals including Arianna Duran (100 Back - 23rd) and Cate Kopchick (100 Breast - 22nd). Both girls moved up in finals to bring in more points than expected.
Finally, a big congrats to our relay swimmers Molly Mercier and Elizabeth Golino. Their contribution to the team and point totals were integral.
Overall, SJ ended up with a 6th place finish in the Class M down from 7th last year. Congratulations, Ladies!
