SJ Basketball Playing for Cure Today!
The SJ Boys and Girls Basketball programs are playing in their annual Officials vs Cancer game tonight against cross-town rivals, Trumbull High School! Tickets are $8 for everyone and a ticket will allow admission to both girls and boys games at Fairfield University. The girls will tip off at 6pm and the boys will follow at 7:45pm. The girls are standing 8-7 on the season, while going 7-4 in the FCIAC. The boys are boasting a 9-3 record thi season, going 7-2 in the FCIAC. Both Eagles teams have only one loss on the season and are currently undefeated in conference play.
SJ Students and Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game. The first 100 SJ students will receive a free pink "Playing for a Cure" t-shirt. T-shirts will also be sold at the game, along with raffles and prizes. Proceeds from the game will go toward the American Cancer Society.
