A MOST IMPRESSIVE FEAT -- YOU HELPED US STUFF SIX BUSES!
It should come as no surprise that our SJ community has exceeded all expectations! Our second annual Stuff-a-Bus event took place on Saturday, February 24 and it was an incredible success.
Thanks to everyone's generosity, we were able to fill SIX school busses with food for four local non-profits: The Bridgeport Rescue Mission, Sterling House Community Center, The Thomas Merton Center, St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry, Mercy Learning Center, and the Blessed Sacrament Food Pantry!
Many, many thanks to all the parents and students who volunteered their time and sent donations to support this initiative. We'd also be remiss if we didn't send a thanks to St. Mark's School, the Assumption School, and Holy Trinity Catholic Academy, who hosted their own food drives to contribute to our busses, as well as those who donated monetary gifts.
