Sports Recap - Weekend of 11/1-11/2

It was a busy weekend for our Cadets! See how they fared:

Girls Soccer
The St. Joseph Girls Soccer team continued their playoff success, beating Fairfield Ludlowe 4-0 in the 1st round of the State Girls Soccer Tournament on Saturday, Nov 1, 2025. It is the fourth straight postseason win for the Cadets and is the sixth straight game they have not been beaten. The Cadets will look to continue this success on Tuesday, November 4th, when they take on New Canaan. Kickoff is set for four pm at Dunning Stadium on the campus of New Canaan High School.

Football
The St. Joseph Hogs soared to a 27-6 victory over Staples on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025. This is the Hogs' fifth win of the season and their third straight victory. This win also keeps St. Joseph's record perfect when on the road, having won all three games they’ve played away from Dalling Field. It’s also the fourth straight game in which the Hogs have allowed less than nine points, and the fifth time this season. The Hogs will go for their fourth straight victory on Saturday, November 8th, when they take on Fairfield Ludlowe in the final home game of the season.

Girls Swim & Dive
The St. Joseph Girls Swim and Dive team competed in the FCIAC Swim Championship on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025. The Cadets earned a total of 114 points and 112.7 NISCA points. This was good enough to earn them ninth out of 13 teams that participated. Junior Maegan Gristani placed, coming in second during the 100-meter butterfly with a time of 57.11 seconds.
