Homecoming Prayer for the Class of 2026
- Grace Glaser '26
Good and gracious God, today we come to you in faith but also in gratitude. To thank you for the beautiful community present here today, and the gift of joy being shared. We ask you to lead us to set aside our differences so that we may come to realize the gift of the friendships, and the homecoming spirit you have created in our midst.
Help us to walk through the hallways and anticipate seeing you in our neighbor. Help us to run out on the fields, and lift up our teammates by reminding them to find their strength in YOU.
Help us to gather as one body in Christ, celebrating Jesus who wants us to be one flock under one shepherd.
One of the gifts you have given to us is our family of faith, built upon the rock of the church. This gift extends to our community here, our family at St. Joes is always present no matter the day, no matter the weather, no matter the time, and so we can always come back home to Joe. We express this pride in loving you, oh God, above all things and our neighbor before ourselves.
Consequently, we will lift each other through faith so that we may achieve our greatest victories.
This special bond within our community makes this chapter of our life held together forever in our hearts.
Assist us to make a home in our heart, for you oh Lord and we ask all these things through Christ our Lord, Amen.
Saint Joseph our Patron…

Behavior / Decorum:
- The St. Joseph High School diploma is not exclusively an indication of the successful completion of academic requirements. Since we educate the whole person, we expect and require each student to exhibit, by his or her own behavior, an appreciation for and acceptance of the values and ideals on which the school was founded and which we continue to teach, as a prerequisite for the awarding of a St Joseph High School diploma. We expect our students to conduct themselves with characteristic poise and class.
Dress Code
- It is required that seniors adhere to the grooming and dress code regulations of St Joseph High School. Even though the special events require that academic gowns to be worn, boys are to be clean-shaven and appropriately dressed: shirt and tie, slacks, dress shoes (no sandals/sneakers), no earrings. Girls are expected to wear dresses, skirts (of modest length) or pants, and dress shoes, business attire. No shorts are permitted.
- NO ADORNMENTS OF ANY KIND ARE ALLOWED ON CAPS OR GOWNS.
